Mainly Lanes released its debut album, Oomami, in 2010. Its members are Toni Zaman, vocals and acoustic guitar; Alex Lane, guitars; Sharon Kalbacher, cello; David Lane, drums; Zoë Lane, bass. The band formed in 2008, embarking on original music after years of playing together casually, in family settings. Toni and Alex, based in Northampton, Mass., gig independently, and with the other band members, based in Brooklyn and San Francisco, when possible.
